What Clients Say

"We found OppsSpot while searching for a new TABA vendor for our yearly slate of SBIRs and decided to choose Sonia and her team and we couldn’t be happier. OppsSpot’s TABA services do not feel like a cookie-cutter service and feel personal to each client, which has helped them outshine their competitors. OppsSpot was able to impressively understand our niche technology beyond the degree necessary to advise on commercialization strategies. I highly recommend Sonia and her team as a TABA vendor and look forward to continuing to work together on future projects.”- Jared Anderson, Electrical Engineer, Interdisciplinary Consulting Corp (IC2)

TABA SERVICES

TABA SBIR/STTR COMMERCIALIZATION SERVICES

WHAT IS TABA?

Technical and Business Assistance (TABA) provides an opportunity to assist small businesses participating in the SBIR and STTR programs with commercializing its technology.  The TABA program provides SBIR/STTR awardees with supplemental funding—separate from the R&D budget—to have a qualified vendor such as OppsSpot, LLC to provide market data, strategic insights, and other business services to help commercialize the technologies being developed. TABA funding amounts are up to $6,500 in Phase I and $50,000 in Phase II.

Customized services based on your needs!

If you need commercialization and/or transition assistance your company can take advantage of Technical and Business Assistance (TABA) when responding to SBIR/STTR projects. TABA allows a small business to elect to acquire the assistance services itself, as opposed to using the vendor that an Agency may provide. In which case you can include OppsSpot as part of your proposal as your qualified vendor.
